So back in May 2016, we created a music video with the incredible Skindred Band who are sponsored by Jägermeister. We refused to work unless we were given a free bottle of Jägermeister!
So we created the video, everybody loved it, of course, sent in our invoice and also the demand for our free bottle of Jager. A month later we had been paid, but still hadn’t received the bottle, so we called them and asked where our bottle was! They laughed and said, were you serious about that??? YES!!!!
Another month past and still sat here tapping our feet… so another call, a bit more angry this time, like you see on the telly, and they said
“Ok ok ok, if it will stop you asking, we will send you a bottle!!!”
A few days later, 9 litres turned up… we don’t even like Jager, it brings up too many bad memories of hang overs… but they were FREEEEEE! 🙂
So we had a spare can of RedBull in the fridge and made a Jager Bomb for the 3 of us in the office… but it didnt even take it out of the neck of ht first bottle…. so we put a shout out on the secret FaceBook group we have for the building
“Free JagerBomb in NWD office at 3pm!!!!”
35 people turned up!!!! So we went out to the shop, bought some more RedBull and a few plastic cups and had the JagerBomb.
A week later on the Friday, we were sat working and 20 – 30 people turned up at 3pm,”What do you guys want?”, they replied “its 3pm and Friday, it’s JagerFriday!”
And thats was how #JagerFriday was born!
