About this project
Bright Events called us once again, after creating the last 3yrs of Dyson Parties, Garnier’s and other events, they asked us to help them with Ovo’s huge Christmas party.
They wanted the rig to be a huge focal part of the main party. We were positioned on the top floor, directly between the main bar and the smoking area… we were MOBBED!
There is a small pedestrian bridge that joined our side of the top floor to the other side, our queue was so busy and so many people were stood on the bridge, we had to close the rig to remove the people from the area as the buildings management didn’t know how much weight it could hold!
We set up from 12 noon until 5pm, then ran none stop until 12am, but then kept it open until 1am photographing the stragglers, bar staff, and management staff. Then from 1am ish, we de-rigged the system, packed it up, and removed it from the building by 2am. We were in the local kebab shop, feet aching, tired, but hungry at 2.03am!
